It’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update, and a lot has been happening behind the scenes. Between work, family life, and personal matters, I’ve had my hands full — but I’m finally in a place where I can catch my breath and share some exciting news and updates with you all.
Over the past few months, I’ve been steadily working on several projects, many of which will be launching soon. While I can’t reveal everything just yet, I promise that some great things are on the horizon.
Tech Woes and Lessons Learned
My trusty laptop is officially a decade old — well, not technically the same laptop for all 10 years, but I bought it refurbished a few years back, and it’s definitely starting to show its age. Earlier this year, I had to replace both the keyboard and the hard drive, which caused a bit of a setback. Unfortunately, I also lost some recent work due to a lack of backups — a hard but necessary lesson learned. Thankfully, I was able to recover quickly and keep moving forward.
Website Upgrades & Portfolio Progress
Another big change: I recently migrated my websites to a new server package. The improved speed and performance have been a breath of fresh air and should make a big difference going forward. My portfolio site is currently under construction, but I’m in the process of giving it a major makeover. Expect to see past projects republished soon, alongside fresh updates and new work as I continue collaborating with clients.
Family Milestone
On the personal side, I’m beyond proud of my kids for reaching a major milestone in their faith journey — they recently received their First Holy Communion. It’s been a meaningful and thoughtful process for them over the past two years, and I’m so proud of their growth and dedication.
Work Life & Looking Ahead
When I’m not deep in project work, I’m at Publix — and this June 2nd will mark my 7th year with the company. It’s been a ride, and I’m currently at my 5th store, serving as a Grocery Replenishment Specialist (basically a grocery clerk and more). I previously stepped down from a higher role to regroup and focus on personal growth, and now I’m working hard to earn that repromotion. It’s been a journey, but I feel stronger and more focused than ever.
Let’s Work Together
My goal is to have my full portfolio completed and relaunched by the end of next month. In the meantime, I’m currently available for new contract work. If you’re looking for someone to help bring your creative or technical ideas to life, I’d love to connect. Let’s talk about how I can support your goals and help you succeed.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and as always, thank you for your support!
